At the Tarlov Cyst Association we recognize that privacy is important. This Policy applies to all of the products, services and websites offered by the Tarlov Cyst Association (collectively, the Tarlov Cyst Association's "services").

We collect information as follows:
* Information you provide - If you register for to member's-only content the information, we save that information.
* Log information - When you use the Tarlov Cyst Association website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a page. The purpose is to see how often a page is visited and how much time users spend on a page.
* User communications - When you send email or other communication to the Tarlov Cyst Association, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
* Medical surveys - One of our services is to provide surveys of the outcomes of medical procedures of members. These surveys may consist of copies of messages that you post to one of our forums. We may include your first name in the survey. Although we attempt to remove other personal identifying information,. if you included such information in a message to one of our forums, we are not responsible for removing it from copies used in our surveys. However, we will remove any such information upon request.
* Contact data The member list of the TCA Intranet shows the members name, city, country and email address to other registered members. Other data are visible to staff only.
* Other sites - This Privacy Policy applies to web sites and services that are owned and operated by the Tarlov Cyst Association. We do not exercise control over the sites to which we provide links. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
Choices for personal information
When you sign up for a particular service that requires registration, we ask you to provide personal information. We will not collect or use your personal information for purposes other than those described in this Policy and/or in the specific service notices, unless we have obtained your prior consent.
You can decline to submit personal information to any of our services, in which case the Tarlov Cyst Association may not be able to provide those services to you.

The Tarlov Cyst Association will not share personal information with other organizations or individuals outside of the Tarlov Cyst Association, unless

In addition to our medical surveys and forums for members, we may share with the public and third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of members who benefit from a type of treatment. Such information does not identify you individually.

Information collected to join the forum is not maintained on any internet server. This information is maintained and viewed only by the owner.
